Moss (00:00) Hi, I'm Moss and you're watching the first episode of Bite This. This is a short form podcast format where I find things in the news or even news history that piss me off, make me feel like shit as an American, and where I bring receipts to prove to you that as an American you should pay attention to this shit and not sit by and think that the systems that are undergirding our social fabric are here to actually protect
The weak and and the harmed because they're not. They are increasingly more authoritative and fucking more people than they're helping. Okay. We're gonna start every episode with the harmed. We're gonna go to the actors, and then we're gonna go to receipts and my and my profanity ridden summary. And there's gonna be a lot of profanity laced throughout. Our first harm.
Is William McNeil Jr. He's twenty-two years old. He's a Livingstone Livingstone college college campus student. He's a biology major. He plays in the marching band. He has no prior arrests. he's not on parole for anything. He's a kid who probably worked harder than any white person in that whole fucking school. If there are any, might even be a black school. I didn't do the research. But he worked his ass off to get into a college.
So that he could be a black person studying in America, which is no small fucking feat. Okay. He's a kiddo. In February twenty twenty five in Jacksonville, it's raining. He was stopped according to the cop for having no headlights and no seatbelt. And he did it right. He rolled he rolled a recorded phone, a recording phone, and he asked why he was stopped, and then when he got the answer, he asked for a supervisor. And for asking, the cop smashed his window.
Punched him in the face, opened the door, dragged him out. He filmed the whole thing himself and it went viral. So I wanted you to meet this guy first. Again, William McNeil Jr., 22 years old, my new best friend. The receipts here are all over the place, but CNN, Washington Post, and ABC all did an expose of this moment because of its virality. And it's it's one of the ones that's that that that it's gotten some air.
So harm forward here. This is this is how the criminal justice system dealt with this arrest when he tried to point out that he was unfairly dealt with. State attorney, Fourth Circuit, said no charges. It didn't constitute a crime. it said the footage was incomplete in scope, meaning there wasn't enough hours in front and hours after to make sure that there was no context cut from the video that might shape how the judge thought about things.
Worse yet, the internal affairs, which these are the people that are all about, did this document get filed? Was there enough of a blah blah? So they reprimanded the cop for not documenting the punch. The cop didn't say anything about a punch in the police report. So he's exonerated on the force. The punch is just fine. Punch whoever you want, but just make sure you use the word punch in your police report. So then, exasperated, 2025, my hero, McNeil.
Files a federal law civil a federal civil rights lawsuit, right? Ben Crump and Harry Daniels are the advising attorneys. That is still alive and well. Again, there are receipts here too. CNN, the AP, and Court TV all all reported on this development in the story with the with the federal lawsuit. So now we're gonna get to the actor. The actor isn't the cop. The actor's not the cop. The actor
Is a white nationalist piece of shit motherfucking influencer on TikTok. His name, get this indelibly clear, is Joseph Anthony Redden. Piece of shit pussy fucker. He calls himself the older millennial. He's been in a Magalane since twenty twenty two, where he probably learned that if he did this and probably looked like he looked and probably talked like he talked, he could make some money.
His whole thing is deport the criminals, comply with cops, blah blah blah. White white white. Brown brown bad. Ugh. Gross.
So his drunk livestream before he was arrested, was that white people are better because we think more than anyone else. White people are better because we think more than anybody else.
How unthoughtful is that? He says black people are stupid. Obviously because they don't think as much as white people, obviously, at least in this person's mind. And he also says that he really likes black on black violence because, you know, seeing these stupid people hurt each other is just so entertaining.
So what he said about McNeil in this case, as part of this rant, was he said he should have just complied. He's the reason he got punched in the face. So had nothing to do with the fact that he was 25 years old, had no criminal record, was driving home in the rain. What's what could possibly considered be considered right with any of that? So then there's an answer tape, right? Then there's the answer tape.
And it gets sort of interesting because you just don't think it's gonna happen like this. But in June twenty twenty five, in Pinellas County, arrested after a TikTok live that he had just recorded, he was arrested and had a parole violation tied to a DUI before, plus resisting arrest before.
The body cam of this little redden bitch is too perfect sounding to describe. He was tased and he pissed himself while he was standing there, unable to manage his own life, and was whining and crying that he was too scared to comply on tape to the cop. So I'm just gonna source his words. I didn't read those words. They're not part of a
Part of any court records or anything like that. know your name and Distractif reported those things, the Atlanta back Black Star, as well. So I'm gonna say it clear. The arrest is a lock. There's nothing disputed about any of that. The exact body comp body cam dialogue, that's shaky, but who cares? He pissed his pants and he's a little faggot. I shouldn't say that 'cause I'm gay. He's a bad kind of no, he's not a faggot. He's just a icky motherfucker.
There you there. I corrected myself.
Okay, so here's the piece, and then we're gonna take it out. Two tapes on the table. McNeil asked a question. He got beaten, and his system said it's fine. That's his tape. Redden, the superior race, white nationalist, racist Nazi genius, he's in cuffs and he's too scared to comply, so he pisses down his white leg, but he's handed handled with kid gloves. No window, no fist, no alternative.
judgment from different police agencies to help anybody understand what could have or should have happened differently. He just gets arrested.
The grace he said the kid didn't deserve, he actually got it, and he still couldn't do the one thing that he demanded all smart people do, which is to comply. So the cut is he gets to see his own tape. He lived the terror, but guess what he kept doing? He kept posting the hate. He chose the con over the conscience because the con is paying his paycheck. And he's a piece of shit and he needs to just disappear.
Until he can turn his conscience back into a conscience that can point towards humanity. His just comply was a product. It had nothing to do with anything but his selling a product. He couldn't use it himself when the taser came out, because he's a little pussy. He told you who complies and who doesn't, but it turns out it was not him. Okay, that's the first.
somewhat disjointed and rant riven rant driven first episode. Thank you for listening. There'll be more, they'll get crisper. And I had a lot of fun doing it. And if you hate me, just disconnect because you're never gonna win an argument with me. Just disconnect. Go hang out with your racist friends. There'll be fewer and fewer of you over time and someday you'll be all alone and crying like a little child that you were probably treated
badly for in the schoolyard when you were young and you're trying to make up for it by being mean to people now. There. I said it. Okay bye.
